Upcoming events for 2008:

• 2008: New Years Day: Double header of dances on Tuesday January 1st 2008:
  • 2-5 PM, folk dance to the live music of International Folk Sounds; then stick around for a pot-Luck dinner from 5-7 PM (Bring a dish or dessert to share)
  •  7-10 PM: CONTRA DANCE with Laurie Fisher calling to Waverly Station -- David Knight on fiddle, Liz Donaldson on piano, and (maybe?) Ralph Gordon on bass.
• January 20 - It's officially become an annual event: come dance to the Mason-Dixon Contra Dance Orchestra (S.P.U.D.S. from Glenside and the Baltimore Open Band converge) with The Two Susans calling - Susan Taylor and Susan Hankin. A Pot-Luck dinner will follow the dance.
• February 3rd--Local Callers with Contra Rebels
• March 2--Bob Isaacs calls for The Bow Rockers
• April 6th-- Susan Hankin calls for Mat Clark, Dave Wiesler & Bob Taylor
• April 27th--Special!! Mostly Waltz is at Arden's Gild Hall
• May 4th-- Janine Smith calls to Not Rocket Surgery: Carl Friedman (fiddle, Irish Flute), Andrew Marcus (accordion), and Ralph Barthine (guitar)
• June 1st-- Tori Barone calls for Raise the Roof

From Philadelphia and north:

Take I95 south to DE line, use I495 to take Naamans Rd. exit, west.

Go 1.7 miles to the light at Marsh Rd/Rt 3, turn left.

At the 1st light turn left on Harvey Rd.

At the 1st light turn right on Orleans Rd. The Gild Hall is 150 yds on left.

From Baltimore and south:

Take I95 north to the Harvey Rd. exit(5 miles north of Wilmington).

At Harvey Rd. turn left. At the 2nd light turn left on Orleans Rd.

The Gild Hall is 150 yds on left.
