Our Process
Step 1: Become a Cleared Photographer
Only approved photographers may take photos at the Taylors Mill. It’s as easy as filling out a quick online form. You should receive confirmation in 30 minutes or less.

Step 2: Request a Time
Before each shoot, the approved photographer must fill out the online request form for their desired date and time.

Step 3: Receive Booking Confirmation
Once your requested time is confirmed, you will receive an email with details of your fee, waivers for all involved, and other important details. The waivers and fee (cash or check only) must be turned in to the lockbox outside the Taylors Mill Office on the day of your shoot.

The Fine Print
All photography and videography at the Taylors Mill is at your own risk. The photographer and their clients assume all responsibility for injury and damages that may occur on the Taylors Mill property, as outlined in the required Liability Waiver.
Videography must be requested by email and approved. Do not fill out the request form on the website. The videography fee is $50/hr.
The photography fee is $20 per client for a 3-hour time block. All fees are per client and valid for one day only. If you want to shoot five clients using your 3-hour time block in a single day, the price will be $100 ($20 x 5 clients).
All exterior photography and videography should be done in a family-friendly way. You may not use the inside of the Taylors Mill for photography or videography.
Please do not block sidewalks, tenants’ entrances, or road traffic on Mill Street while taking exterior photos.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled shoot, please reply to your approval email or email photo@taylorsmill.community.

If you are a photographer being compensated for your pictures, there is a $20 per client fee.
If you are taking pictures for fun and are not being compensated, you do not need to fill out the form or pay a fee. Please be respectful of photographers that have booked a time and allow them to use the space first. Never block tenant entrances, sidewalks, or obstruct traffic.

Please put your requested timeframe in your booking. The $20 fee is good for up to 3 hours, but is a per client fee. For example, if you book 3 clients within your timeframe, your fee would be $60.

Yes. We do not limit the booked time to one photographer. The Mill is very large and can accommodate multiple photographers at once. Please be respectful to other photographers there and limit time per space to 30 minutes.

No worries! We know clients change schedules or weather affects outdoor shoots. Simply email photo@taylorsmill.community and update or cancel your booking. No fee is required for canceled shoots.

Video is $50 an hour and must be approved in advance. DO NOT fill out the request form. Email photo@taylorsmill.community with details for your shoot*.
Include the following: date and time, total number on-site for the shoot, details of the shoot and desired location.
Please note that only outdoor photography is allowed at this time. We no longer book the indoor spaces for photography or videography.

We no longer allow inside photography at the Taylors Mill. You can check out one of our tenants, Whitewall Studios for options of booking space for indoor photography.
Become a Cleared Photographer
The form below is to be filled out by the photographer. If you are a client, please have your photographer fill out this form. Photographers only need to complete this form before their very first shoot at the Taylors Mill.
Request a Time
After filling out your request, you will receive an email with your confirmation (or reason it was denied) along with:
Your Fee. Please deposit check or cash in the Lock Box outside the Taylors Mill Office (to the right of the Farehouse in Dock 3) on the day of your shoot. No electronic payments are accepted.
Liability Waiver. Must be signed by all parties and dropped off in the Lock Box on the day of the shoot.
